Welcome to Platty's Dragon Warrior/ Dragon Quest Savestate Site I've been a fan of the Dragon Warrior / Dragon Quest series since the early 1990s when I got Dragon Warrior I with my Nintendo Power subscription. With the upcoming release of Dragon Quest VIII, I thought I'd provide those newcomers (and us old timers) a place where they can jump right into the middle (or end) of any old DW/DQ game. I hope you find this site useful. How savestates work: Each file on this site is a saved state of a Dragon Warrior or Dragon Quest game. If you have the correct NES, SNES, or GBC ROM, then you can download the files on this site and start up right where someone else left off. To use the savestates, please make sure the first portion of the filename matches the name of your ROM exactly. Don't change the file extension. Place the savestate in the same folder as your ROM, and following the directions for opening a savestate from the ROM. Submissions: Please send me in those savestates, it's the only way the Shrine will grow! When submitting a savestate to the Shrine, please include the following information: Setting - where in the game is this savestate, levels?, special time? Emulator - which emulator is this a savestate of ROM - which version of the ROM was this saved from Please, email all submissions to me at savedq@zoomshare.com
